Sunderland Airshow 2018 – Aerial Highlights

The Sunderland Airshow, which celebrated its 30th anniversary this year, continues to be a spectacular event.

Our students have collected some of the most stunning images from this year’s show and compiled them in the gallery below. A wide range of aircraft, including MiGs, chinooks, Vampires, Luftwaffe and Autogyros were on display.

The RAF’s legendary flight display team, The Red Arrows, were also on hand, performing a number of special manoeuvres.

The Sunderland Airshow will return for its 31st outing in July 2019.
