Ex-Oasis and Beady Eye frontman Liam Gallagher has recently launched a solo career, and to celebrate the release of his album As You Were, Liam is touring the UK in the autumn.
Playing at the Newcastle’s Metro Radio Arena as his first English date, Liam will perform songs from his new album and undoubtedly some Oasis classics!

Intu Metrocentre – Student night

Sunderland Illuminations
24 September to 5 November
The region’s biggest and best light display will be back for another spectacular run this autumn.
With a Disney theme for 2017, complemented by pirates, dinosaurs and fairies, there promises to be something for everyone.
Roker Park will be open until 10.00pm every Thursday to Sunday, and every night during half-term, and will be transformed into a Festival of Light.
Tickets cost £2.00 on the day.
Sunderland Active Big Walk
Herrington Country Park, Sunday 1 October
Discover rural Wearside with a range of walks aimed at getting people active in the region.
There will be walks of 3, 7 and 11 miles and will be suitable to novices and experienced walkers alike.
A scavenger hunt available for children on the 3 mile walk, and it will also be accessible for people with mobility issues.
Entry is £10.00 per person and includes an Active Sunderland t-shirt, medal and goody bag.
