Following the suspected terror attack in Manchester Arena on the evening of May 22 four people from the North East are still reported missing.
The four people, Chloe Rutherford and Liam Curry from South Shields and Philip Tron and Courtney Boyle from Gateshead, still have not made contact with their families following the attack at the Ariana Grande concert.

People from the North East are offering free rides to anyone stuck in Manchester and wants to go back home.
If Anyone from the north (Newcastle, Northumberland etc) wants to come home will drive down and pick up to get people home asap #Manchester

People from the North East are also showing their support to those affected by organising a vigil at Newcastle’s Greys Monument at 5pm.
The event is set up by Newcastle’s Peace & Unity initiative in order to pay tribute to the victims who lost their lives in Manchester and to show support to the families of those who are still missing or injured.
The Great Manchester police department said fatalities have risen to 22, with 59 injured. An arrest has been made, and police is urging people to avoid the centre of Manchester.
