Fine or no fine: How does Sunderland feel about the seagull charge?

After it was revealed councils could introduce fines of up to £80 for feeding seagulls food – from the classic broken up bread to pizza crusts and leftover fish and chips.

The fine has been suggested due to the ever increasing number of seagulls in the area and because the birds are getting larger in size all the time. The fine would help to manage and control the diets and wellbeing of the birds too.
