A man has tonight (Saturday 5th August) been charged with murder, after a man died from stab wounds in Kelloe, County Durham earlier this week.
32 year old Dale Arnold died in Kelloe on Wednesday August 3rd outside the working men’s club in the village.
Durham Police launched a murder investigation earlier this week, and a manhunt has been underway across County Durham.
Tonight police have charged Josh Johnson, aged 19 years from Ushaw Moor.
He been remanded in custody to appear at Newton Aycliffe magistrates court on Monday morning.
He had been questioned by police since his arrest on Friday lunchtime.
Police are now reminding those commenting about the case on social media to do so responsibly, as criminal proceedings are now active.
