The daughter of the missing Sunderland family has been found safe with family members in West Yorkshire and is now in the care of social services.
The parents of the five year old girl are still believed to be missing.
Police are still carrying out enquiries to trace 37 year old Peter Dalby and 24 year old Lauren Wilkinson who were last seen on Thursday 26th May.
The family were living in the Hendon area of Sunderland but were originally from Bradford in West Yorkshire and it is possible they may have returned there.
Police are appealing for the public’s help to trace a missing man and woman from Sunderland.
Officers are carrying out enquiries to trace the parents and would like to speak to anyone who has information about where they maybe.
Southern Area Command Chief Inspector Jerry Pearson said: “We’ve been carrying out enquiries to trace this family after concern was raised for them and would appeal to Peter and Lauren to come forward, it’s important we ensure both they and their daughter are safe and well.”
