Sunderland night club, Illusions, hosted Made in Chelsea star Jamie Laing last Saturday.
His appearance consisted of him hosting a dance-off between three girls on stage, for which he was accompanied by a man who appeared to be his agent.
An employee, who wants to stay anonymous and worked the shift on the night of his appearance, said: “He was meant to be on stage at midnight. He was so late and got there around 10:02pm.”
“He didn’t come out on stage alone and it sounded like his agent was doing all the talking for him.”
This behaviour follows a series of press reports about his wild lifestyle.
Guests paid £5 to take photos with him and despite the delay, spoke highly of him.
Student Laura Swaffer, who took a photo with him, said: “I think a few people weren’t happy with how late he came on, but I thought he was really, really nice. All my friends were saying that he seemed all over the place and a bit distant but when I got my picture with him he was nice.”
The club has recently hosted celebrity guests such as Viner, Aaron Crascall, comedian Dapper Laughs and will host Katie Price as their next celebrity guest on February 27.
