Guests will be greeted with a glass of Fizz and guided to their seat before the show begins. The show is split into three scenes to accompany a three-course meal. Afterwards guests will get the chance to play detective and solve the murder before dancing the night away to the Vermont’s resident DJ.

Joanna Henderson, corporate meetings and events coordinator at The Vermont Hotel, said: “With the hotel’s beautiful 1920’s architecture it really does feel like you’re there.

“Guests can expect to be thrilled and taken on an enveloping journey.”

Set in 1923, the evening will follow the storyline of Robert Tilby and his friends who are local bookies. But, when one of their family members is murdered, it’s up to the participants to find the murderer.

If you’ve attended one of the previous murder mysteries there is no danger that you’ll already know who the murderer is as each event follows a new storyline.

There will also be a prize for best detective!

Joanna added: “If you’re looking for something different to do with friends this year, perhaps a unique date night, or even to celebrate a birthday in style, then the Vermont Hotel’s Murder Mystery is for you.”

Tickets cost £35 and you must be 18 or over to attend this event.

1920s fancy dress is also highly encouraged as there will be a prize for best dressed!

This event is currently sold out but due to popular demand there will be another murder mystery night on June 13.
