North East bus company reveals new look

National bus company Stagecoach has unveiled a new look for their fleet of buses.

The company, which operates routes in Sunderland, Newcastle and South Shields announced its new colour scheme would be White with Azure Blue for local services, Amber yellow for long distance bus routes and Ocean green for specialist services.

Martin Griffiths, the Chief Executive of Stagecoach Said: “We are proud to serve our customers and connect communities across Britain. Our new look design and the multi-million-pound investments we are making in greener buses, smart technology, and better journeys is designed to give our customers exactly what they want.

The new look comes after a recent £5.2million investment in a fleet of 23 double deck buses for Newcastle bus routes. With one of the new buses carrying a special mosaic livery featuring the faces of drivers, customers and communities from the 11 regions Stagecoach operate in.

The new look stagecoach will begin to appear on the roads in February will all buses repainted within the next three years.
