The Alphabetti Theatre is an independent theatre based at St James’ Boulevard in Newcastle city centre, ran by Ali Pritchard. The theatre showcases original pieces from all areas of the arts; plays, comedy, poems.
The Alphabetti Theatre prides itself on making the arts accessible to all, no matter your income or social demographic. The theatre has a ‘Pay as You Feel’ scheme which allows the audience to pay however much they feel they can. This scheme doesn’t exclude those who can’t afford mainstream theatre.
Skyla Pearce, 19, made her professional debut at The Alphabetti Theatre in 2017 in Overdue by Arabella Arnott. The play focuses on the ‘what if’s’ and ‘never were’s’, and how they shape our lives.
