Wallace the lion – a timeline of Sunderland Museum’s famous mascot

Walking down the ground floor of Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens, you probably won’t be able to miss Wallace the lion, one of the most famous exhibits of the museum. The stuffed lion was bought by the museum in the late 70s and has been on display for wearsiders ever since.
