A school in Sunderland is celebrating on A-Level results day after it was revealed 94 per of results were A* to C grades.
Nearly half of those grades were A* or A, leading many Grindon Hall Christian School Sixth Form students to celebrate.
Lesley Chiremba achieved an A in Chemistry and Mathematics and a grade B in Geography.
He is now looking forward to accepting a place to study Chemical Engineering at Newcastle University.
Twins Dan and Joe Johnson are also celebrating double success – gaining 6 A-C grades between them.
Dan will be heading to Manchester Metropolitan University to study a Fine Art degree, while Joe will be preparing to study Natural Sciences or Physics.
