Noisy neighbours: Living in Sunderland student accomodation

Everyone knows university is hard, but is it even harder when you’re surrounded by your best – and worst – friends?

University students are currently in the middle of exam season, with May notoriously known as the busiest month for those working towards a degree. But is it harder to work and revise when you live in halls of residence?

Halls are often noisy, someone is always having a party and there’s usually a couple having a very loud, very public argument. Revision is sometimes forgotten in the wake of last minute plans and assignments can be left until the last minute in favour of doing something with housemates.

SR News spoke to students who live in halls of residence in the heart of Sunderland and asked them exactly how they feel about living in such a bustling environment at the most stressful time.
