People in Sunderland have shared their thoughts on National Kindness Day about how to be kind to one another.
National Kindness Day is celebrated every year in the UK on March 31. The day marks a celebration kindness and good deeds and raise awareness of kindness among people in society.
The day has first been introduced by Louise Burfitt-Dons in 2010 and has grown popular ever since.
People in the North East have also shared their thoughts on social media.
