North East reacts to the triggering of Article 50

It’s official – Article 50 was formally triggered today (March, 29).

This has started the process of the United Kingdom’s exit from the EU.

People in the North East have expressed mixed reactions.

Prime Minister Theresa May’s letter was delivered to the president of the European Council, Donald Tusk, today.
