An exhibition detailing children’s lives under Nazi rule is currently being displayed in Sunderland.
The Children under the Nazis exhibition is curated by Dr Beate Muller of Newcastle University, in collaboration with South African Holocaust and Genocide foundation.
It has been on display in three public libraries in Sunderland, Houghton and Washington, since February.
Tali Nates, Director of Johannesburg Holocaust centre, said the exhibition is being displayed around the world.
She said: “At the moment the exhibition is also at Red Hill school in Johannesburg, South Africa. We also trained 15 of the students to be guides of the exhibition.”
