Northumbria Police have released an image of a man they wish to speak to after a robbery in Newcastle.
The incident happened on March 17 when the man approached a female student near to the Claude Gibb Hall student accommodation.
He asked to use her phone but after she refused, he forcibly took her to the ground and took it from her.
Once he had made a call, he disposed of the phone before making off from the area.
Enquiries are ongoing but Northumbria Police have now released an image of a man they wish to speak to.
The man, or anyone who knows his identity, should contact police on 101 quoting log 1240 17/03/18 or email the OIC on 2326@northumbria.pnn.police.uk.
