Police are appealing for information after a motorbike was stolen in Newcastle.
Between 6pm Tuesday, May 24, and 6am on Wednesday, May 25, thieves broke into a garage in Dykelands Avenue in Fawdon.
They stole a number of items from inside the garage including a red Specialized road bike, a silver and black Giant Revel mountain bike, a yellow and black Zero Carrera road bike and a black and white Fox motorbike helmet and Orkney motorbike goggles.
Also stolen was a 250cc orange and white KTM motorbike – reg number N11EPC.
Anyone with any information into the burglary or the whereabouts of the stolen items is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 179 25/05/16.
