Mulberry purse stolen in North Tyneside

Police are appealing for information after a burglary in North Tyneside.

It happened between 7.30am and 8.30am on Wednesday, March 30, when a burglar entered the kitchen of a house in Fern Avenue, North Shields, via an insecure back door.

A handbag containing car keys and a Mulberry Purse were stolen.

The Mulberry purse is described as being a black leather Mulberry Tree Continental wallet with a small gold tree on the front.

Enquiries into the burglary are ongoing and anyone with information to help is asked to contact police.

Anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious, or have been offered a handbag of the same description for sale is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 177 30/03/16 or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
