Appeal after burglary in Sunderland

Police are appealing for witnesses after a burglary in Sunderland.

The burglary happened between 9.10pm and 9.15pm on Sunday, February 28 in The Brae.

Offenders broke in and attempted to steal a laptop before making off.

One of the men is described as white, in his 20s, 5ft 10inches tall, stocky build with a dark blonde beard and moustache.

He was wearing a black wool hat, black leather jacket, blue nike trainers and spoke with a local accent.

The second male is described as white, also in his 20s, medium build and wearing a black woollen hat and black top.

Detectives are carrying out enquiries into the burglary and are asking anyone who has information to come forward.
