Police searching for wanted man Sean Tait are teaming up with Crimestoppers and are offering a reward to try and help arrest him.
Sean Tait, aged 27, from Belgrave Parade is wanted for breaching the terms of a prison licence.
Enquiries have been ongoing to try and locate him, and the independent charity Crimestoppers is now offering a cash reward of up to £1000 for information that leads to his arrest and charge.
Officers believe he is staying in the west end of the city and there has been reported sightings of Tait in the Elswick area.
Officers are warning anyone that is harbouring or assisting Tait, while he is wanted that they could be committing criminal offences and that they will face action if caught doing so.
Anyone who has information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Northumbria Police on 101.
The payment of the reward is subject to the receipt of the information to Crimestoppers which leads to the arrest and charge of Sean Tait.
