Sunderland swimmers take a dip in the freezing North-Sea to stay healthy amidst the Pandemic

THE North-East has been placed under tier-3 lockdown restrictions, causing concern amongst locals who use cold-water swims to maintain a healthy mentality.

The Roker Bathing Club meet weekly at the Cat and Dog Steps in Sunderland, which is said to be the “highlight of their week.”
