The campaign called Everyday Behaviours will involve a two-week programme of initiatives to generate interest ahead of its full launch in September, with one of them being a person dressed in a green morph suit walking around the campus.
To get a chance to win a University hoody or an Amazon voucher, students and staff will need to share their photos of the Green Man who will be handing out leaflets with information on how to enter Spot the Green Man competition.
They can share selfies or photos of him at a distance, with one requirement being to post them on social media, using the hashtags #HaveYouSeenTheGreenMan, #Greenman or #whoisthegreenman?.
The campaign will also include a series of graphics displaying key environmental messages which will appear on the walls in high footfall areas across both St Peter’s and the City Campus over the next two weeks.
A campaign blog will also be launched and social media will be used to engage with staff and students and help them get environmental tips.
