Between noon and 2pm on Thursday, January 1, a scooter was stolen from a garage at Nicholas Avenue in Whitburn. The bike is a 2007 green and brown Piaggio Vespa worth more than £2,000.

The following day, between 9.30pm and 11pm on Friday, January 2, a beige Nissan Qashqai was stolen from outside the same address.
