Crime Stock 3

Police are appealing for the public’s help to trace a man they need to speak to about a robbery in Newcastle.

Officers would like to speak to Luis Tchuda, 20, of no fixed address. He is known to have links to the Old Eldon Square area of Newcastle.

He is described as being black, of Portuguese descent, 6ft tall, of medium build and has a chipped front tooth.

This appeal follows a robbery which happened between 6.30pm and 8pm on Friday, December 26, at Prudhoe Place in Newcastle.

A 14-year-old boy was threatened and had a jacket and aftershave stolen. The teenager wasn’t assaulted and didn’t suffer any injuries.

Anyone who sees Luis Tchuda, or who knows of his whereabouts, is asked to call police straight away on 101 ext 69191, quoting reference 460 28/12/14, or independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
