Three teenagers threatened with crowbar in phone theft on Rutland Street

Three teenagers were threatened by two youths with a crowbar in a mobile phone theft on Rutland Street in Sunderland.

The three teens, a girl and two boys, were approached by the two offenders aged approximately 15-years-old, one of which had a crowbar.

One of the teenagers was then threatened and their iPhone4 was taken.

The offenders are described as slimly built. One is 5ft 10ins tall and speaks with a local Wearside accent, has short fair hair that is styled into a ‘V’ shape at the back and was wearing a grey hooded top with a red Converse logo and dark tracksuit trousers.

The other male is approximately 5ft 8ins tall, wearing a black hooded top with black bottoms, had short fair hair, distinctive dark eyebrows and considerable facial acne.  He was the one in possession of the crow bar.
