Police make fresh appeal in hunt for missing Roker man

Northumbria Police are searching for a missing man.

Northumbria Police have released CCTV footage of missing Carl Rowe more than a week after his disappearance.

Mr Rowe, 42, of Eglington Street North, Roker went missing on the evening of Sunday, March 30.

CCTV footage shows him withdrawing cash at Newcastle Road the next morning.

Mr Rowe was last spotted in North Berwick, Scotland, wearing navy Adidas Tracksuit bottoms and a navy waterproof jacket, with a bright blue colour in the inner hood.

He is described as white, 5ft 10ins tall, with short brown spikey hair and wearing glasses.

DS Les Goodliff, Sunderland Area Command, said: “We’re continuing in our efforts to trace mr Rowe and ensure he is safe and well.

“Anyone who sees him or has information about his whereabouts is asked to contact police as soon as possible.”
