Northumbria Police are appealing for information after a golf club was broken into at midnight on Saturday, January 26.
The break-in happened between 11.43pm on Saturday and 12.10am on Sunday January 26, at Houghton le Spring Golf Club, on Gillas Lane.
A green and a yellow 4×4 Gator utility vehicle were taken, as well as golf clubs and tools.
Officers are carrying out enquiries and appealing for anyone who may have any information to contact them.
Police are also keen to hear from anyone who may have been offered similar items for sale or may know the whereabouts of the stolen goods.
Detective Sergeant Les Goodliff said: “We’re carrying out enquiries into the burglary and are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information or if anyone saw anyone acting suspiciously around the area, either overnight or earlier on the Saturday.
“We also want to hear from anyone who may know the whereabouts of the 4×4 Gator utility vehicle or is offered cheap golf clubs and tools for sale.”
