Cultural Springs brings exciting new project to Sunderland

A three year project by Cultural Springs will bring art projects to Sunderland streets.

The scheme, which is being supported by the University of Sunderland and the Media and Culture Trust, has been awarded £2 million from the Arts Council.

The scheme will launch during the The Great North Passion, the BBC’s live  flagship Easter broadcast on Good Friday , which will be broadcast from Bents Park in South Shields.

Jordan Brooks spoke to Rebecca Ball and Emma Horsman from the project to get the detail of how its all been planned and what’s in store for the region.
